Privacy Policy

Last updated October 24, 2026

This policy covers the franklin.run website and the Franklin web chat at franklin.run/chat. franklin.run is operated by BlockRun, Inc., a Delaware corporation, which also operates blockrun.ai.

The Franklin command-line agent is different: it keeps its sessions, memory, wallet keys and settings on your computer in ~/.blockrun/, and none of that reaches franklin.run.

Model calls

When you send a message, franklin.run relays it to the BlockRun gateway, which routes it to the model you picked. The relay does not record your prompts or the model's answers, and the gateway keeps no prompts or completions. See the BlockRun Privacy Policy and zero data retention.

Before you sign in

Without a connected wallet, your conversations and personal skills are kept only in your browser's local storage. franklin.run does not receive a copy. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

What franklin.run stores

  • Conversations, once you connect a wallet: each chat's title, the full text of your messages and Franklin's replies, when it was created and last updated, send times for newly submitted messages, and the images or links to media generated in it. Chats you had in the browser are uploaded when you connect. Each conversation is stored under your wallet address.
  • Personal skills you save while signed in with a wallet or a BlockRun account, stored under a hashed form of that wallet address or account ID.
  • Team workspaces, if you create or join one with a BlockRun account: the workspace name, each member's account ID, display name and role, the messages and files posted in it, and invite records (invite codes are stored hashed). Every member of a workspace can read its messages and files.
  • Share links: when you share a conversation, a copy of its title and the messages and images you chose is stored and can be read by anyone who has the link. If you are signed in with a wallet when you share, a hashed form of your wallet address is stored with the copy so that only you can delete it.
  • Feedback you send: its type, title, message, language, the time, and the email address if you give one.

Your wallet address is kept in a signed cookie on your device for up to 30 days so you stay signed in. If you sign in with a BlockRun account, your email and account ID are kept in an encrypted cookie on your device for up to 30 days; franklin.run does not store them on its servers.

Where it is kept and who can see it

Everything above is stored in a Google Cloud Storage bucket in the us-central1 region (Iowa, United States), in a Google Cloud project that BlockRun controls. Access is limited to the franklin.run service and to the BlockRun staff who administer that project.

How we use it

We access conversations you save on franklin.run only to troubleshoot problems you report or to fix bugs, and only staff who need to do that can see them. We do not sell them, share them with third parties, or use them to train models or for research.

We read feedback to answer it and to decide what to fix. Personal skills and team workspaces are used only to provide those features to you.

Logs and analytics

  • Request logs. Google Cloud records each request to franklin.run: your IP address, the page or API path, the referring page, your browser's user agent, the response status and the time. These logs do not contain your messages and are kept for 30 days.
  • Error logs. When something fails on our side we log the error, which can include your wallet address. These entries do not contain your messages and are kept for 30 days.
  • Google Analytics. franklin.run pages, including the chat, load Google Analytics, which uses cookies to count page views and records your browser, device and approximate location. It does not receive your messages. Google's use of this data is described in the Google partner sites policy.

How long we keep it

Conversations, personal skills, team workspaces, share links and feedback have no automatic expiry. They are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Deleted items stay recoverable in storage for up to 7 days and are then permanently removed.

Deleting your data

  • Conversations: delete a chat from the chat sidebar while signed in, and it is removed from franklin.run. If the request fails, the chat stays hidden on that device and the deletion is retried the next time you open the chat. Signing out does not delete anything.
  • Personal skills: delete them in My Skills.
  • Share links: open the link while signed in with the wallet you shared it from and choose Delete this link. Links shared while signed out or from the desktop app aren't tied to a wallet, so email us to remove those.
  • Team workspaces: you can delete your own messages and the files you created. Owners and admins can delete any message or file, and can delete the whole workspace, which removes its messages, files and invites for every member.
  • Feedback can't be deleted from the app. Email us and we will remove it.

To ask what we hold about you, or to have all of it deleted, email hello@blockrun.ai from the address you want us to reply to, with your wallet address or BlockRun account email.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
